Pray Your Way
A daily practice that brings you nearer to God in your own time, in your own voice, on your own road.
Pray Your Way is now live. It is a Christian daily devotional — a strengthening tool, not a system of streaks or guilt. The promise is simple: a daily practice that brings you nearer to God in your own time, in your own voice, on your own road.
What it does
Every devotional comes in three depths so it can meet you wherever the day finds you:
Underneath those three depths sits a full King James Version Bible with search, highlighting, and notes; a library of hand-written devotionals organized by themes like Resilience, Hope, Healing, and Courage; six narrated voice options; a prayer journal; and a free library of community prayers. There is a look-back feature so nothing you have read is lost.
Why we built it
Most spiritual apps reward consistency the way fitness apps do — streaks, badges, guilt for missed days. We did not want that. The Christian walk does not get stronger because someone shamed you into showing up. It gets stronger because you returned.
Pray Your Way is built so the door is always open and the welcome never expires. It will not lecture you for missing a week. It will simply be there when you come back.
One app. Every device you own.
Pray Your Way is a Progressive Web App — a PWA. That is the whole point: the same installation works on your phone, your tablet, your laptop, your desktop, and any other workstation device you sit down at. Install it once on each, and it lives in the same place every other app lives — the home screen on your phone, the dock on your Mac, the taskbar on Windows, the launcher on Linux, the Start menu, the application grid on a Chromebook. It opens in its own window, with its own icon, with no browser frame around it. It feels native because it is.
That is why we built it as a PWA. A devotional tool should not be locked to a single device. The practice belongs to you, not to whichever device you happened to install it on first.
You will not find Pray Your Way in the App Store or Google Play — that is on purpose. Add it to your home screen or dock from the site itself in about ten seconds and it behaves like any other app: its own icon, its own splash screen, full-screen mode, push notifications if you want them, offline reading when you do not.
Installing on iPhone or iPad
- Open prayyourway.app in Safari (this part matters — not Chrome on iOS).
- Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — the square with the arrow pointing up.
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
- Tap Add in the top right. The Pray Your Way icon now sits on your home screen, right next to every other app.
Installing on Android
- Open prayyourway.app in Chrome.
- Chrome will usually show an Install app banner the first time you visit. Tap it.
- If you do not see the banner, tap the three-dot menu in the top right and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Confirm. The icon appears in your launcher with every other app.
Installing on a Mac, PC, or Linux workstation
- Open prayyourway.app in Chrome, Edge, Brave, or any other Chromium-based browser.
- Look for the small install icon on the right side of the address bar — usually a monitor or a downward-pointing arrow.
- Click it, then click Install. Pray Your Way is now a real desktop app: pin it to your Mac dock, your Windows taskbar, your Linux launcher, or your Start menu. Open it from there the same way you open everything else.
- When the app launches, it runs in its own window with no browser address bar — just the app, the way it should be.
Once installed, Pray Your Way will open without an internet connection. The Bible is on the device. Your saved devotionals are on the device. Your notes are on the device. Sit down at any of your machines, click the icon, pick up where you left off. The road is yours; the practice travels with you.
A daily practice that brings you nearer to God in your own time, in your own voice, on your own road.
